Ponte Vedra Beach Family Session

I met up with the amazingly talented Monika of MColichio Photography and her family at Guana Tolomato Matanzas Reserve (I'm never typing that out again) in Ponte Vedra Beach a month ago when it felt like summer in Florida would never end. Now fast forward through one trip to ClickAway and a few weeks and it is gloriously beautiful outside. So unfair!! Even despite our insane heat, they looked SO beautiful throughout and let's just say...I'm glad no one was taking pictures of me because at one point my mascara totally melted off my eyes.

I love this session because it shows how incredibly beautiful Florida is and how fortunate we are to be surrounded by these forests of oak, palm, pine and fern with rivers and oceans just next door. This is the playground for our children to run and laugh and play, as long as we soak them in mosquito repellent and pluck off the sand spurs and cactus before they sit down.

But I also loved being here because Monika and her family were such a joy to follow around and capture. Getting to know her children -- how sweet her son was and how fun it was to watch her daughter twirl and dance. Running around through the trails trying to keep up with these guys (followed by cooling down in the car)! And catching mom and dad kiss! I nearly missed that shot until I turned back around which actually makes me glad because it was so much in the moment.

Thank you so much for allowing me to capture these moments. You guys are such a beautiful family inside and out.
